As you can see from our "Content" side of the page we have a range of educational, research, religious and spiritual offerings. These include , Ethics Training, Jewish Studies on-line and other Jewish Education Programs, non-denominational on-line Religious Studies Courses, Humanities and Peace Studies all of which can lead to a general studies or religious studies degree at home. We have other on-line learning studies such as several certificate studies areas. There is also an on-line religious experience and we offer periodic alternative retreats. Introduction to Touro Institute

Touro Institute is a not-for-profit corporation, organized as a religious studies college, to provide transformation, education, and direction for individuals, organizations, and society as a whole. The college is registered with the Louisiana State Board of Regents as a degree granting institute.  

Who We Are:

Touro Institute (TI) is focused on six  main centers.  These are:  

• Center for Religious, Spiritual, and Other Studies

• Center for Certificate Programs

• Center for Personal/Organizational Enrichment and Goal Development

• Center for Performance Enhancement

• Center for Business, Personal, and Social Ethics

• Center for Research in Alternative Therapies

The Institute also offers retreat programs and sponsors Kadash Shahar.

What You Will Find:

• Bachelors and Masters programs for people of all religious faiths with no residency requirements 
• Certificate programs in a variety of areas with college credits available.
• Credit-By-Exam & On-line Courses provide a wealth of credit courses without leaving your home.
• Ethics online learning and coaching in methods to improve the ethics structures within a company, a family, an individual, or society in general.
• Kadash Shahar, a religious experience for shut-ins or others who can not attend services on a regular basis.
